Issue 1 - Washout Plug Holes

In some copies, there has been a slight inconsistency between the step-by-step instructions and the part supplied with issue 1. For these copies, step 13 does not give the correct instructions for the part supplied. We are aware of this error and we have now prepared a new set of instructions which you can access by clicking on the link below. A copy of these will also be inserted inside issue 6 of the magazine.

Issue 16 - Alternative Backhead

Alternative Backhead Insert

Issue 60 - Replacement Coupling Rod Fixings

Due to a packing error a small number of copies do not include the replacement coupling rod fixings. If your issue is missing these parts, you can obtain them by contacting our customer services team: flyingscotsman@jacklinservice.com



Issues 61 & 63 - Missing Bushes

In issue 61 customers were advised that they would receive a bush (part 238) for use in a future issue. This was an unfortunate misprint and the information is incorrect. No bush will be provided as it is not required for the build.

In issue 63 the magazine advises that a further bush (part 243) is provided for use in a future issue. This is the same misprint as with issue 61 and no bush will be provided.
